Danielle Beinstein is an astrologer, spiritual counselor, meditation guide and one of the most insightful and eloquent writers I have ever come across. Her perspective on astrology, spirituality, life and current events is one that I turn to often and that I instantly feel connected to.
After following Danielle on social media for quite some time I was elated when I saw on Instagram that the Moon Circle she co-facilitates with Paula Mallis in LA would be coming to Maha Rose in Brooklyn. I signed up immediately and after a beautiful circle filled with insight, tears and connection I introduced myself and signed up for a one-on-one natal chart reading.
Katie Hess is an alchemist, spiritual seeker and the creator of the transformational flower remedies line, LOTUSWEI. We first met at last year’s Indie Beauty Expo in NYC, and I was instantly drawn in by her vibrant energy and a sparkle about her that I knew I needed to learn more about.
I am absolutely beaming with excitement to introduce today’s very special, informative and inspiring conversation with Jessa Blades. A true force in the natural beauty industry, she has made it her life’s work to teach the power of self-care and empower women to own their individuality.
I have been following Jessa for years now, first discovering her work in the beginning stages of exploring this world of natural beauty. Her energy pulled me through even on the computer and I knew that as soon as I had the chance I would be attending one of her workshops. When the opportunity presented itself a few months ago, I didn’t think twice about signing-up (definitely follow Jessa on Instagram to stay up-to-date on all events + daily inspiration). I can’t recommend experiencing Jessa’s knowledge in-person enough. You will walk away with valuable information and feeling the true possibility and excitement that comes with having the tools to feel your best.
When I first discovered Addictive Wellness I thought it must be too good to be true. A sugar-free chocolate, made with raw cacao, superfoods, herbs, fair-trade and free of any ingredients I was allergic to? This was a rare find and I knew I had to taste it to believe it! Sage and AnnaBlanca were kind enough to gift me their chocolates and upon arrival I immediately made a pot of tea to sit down and taste-test. The feeling of euphoria that washed over me after the first bite was priceless. High-quality, nutritious and and insanely delicious, I knew I found my go-to dessert and diet staple that was going to satisfy me and nourish my body. Sage and AnnaBlanca are both extremely bright stars, passionate and fun-loving in changing the way we think about chocolate. I adore them both and am thankful for the work they do. This is the food of love and it is time to enjoy it without the guilt or afternoon energy slump. One bite of Addictive Wellness and you will be hooked for life (I know I am)! Now let’s get to know the beautiful couple behind this truly addicting treat!
I first met Scott and Nitsa of Sun Potion at their Potions 101 class held at my favorite natural beauty store in the city, CAP Beauty. I was immediately entranced by their glowing energy and the knowledge they brought with such openness to share. Within minutes of sipping their tonics I was buzzing with the most life-changing clarity and energy I ever had (I am not using that term loosely, it was transformative). At that moment I instantly fell in love with these herbs and knew they were about to become a major part of my life and wellness regimen.
It was five weeks ago that CAP Beauty (my absolute favorite natural beauty store located in the West Village) hosted a special afternoon with Valérie Grandury, founder and creator of Odacité Skincare. I had read many wonderful things about the brand online and it was on the top of my list of products to try next so I knew that I had to go to learn more. Immediately upon meeting Valérie her warm presence and easy going personality made me feel as if I was learning from a friend I had known for years. We went through my goals for skincare products, which was to find something I could use daily that would hydrate my skin for the transition of Winter into Spring while protecting it from sun exposure and life running around the city.
