Darling Magazine

These days the majority of fashion magazines can feel incredibly repetitive, uninspiring and create an unattainable idea of how a woman should look, act and dress instead of celebrating who she really is. This diet, that diet, how to make your man love you, the list goes on and on. It is not the type of information that any young girl or woman needs to be reading. The good news is that we have come on to what these magazines are trying to sell us and we aren’t having it. The women of today are expressing their need for something new and different. We want something that feeds our eyes and soul.

On a positive note, there are magazines out there offering a beautiful message complete with valuable information on a variety of topics. One of these magazines is Darling Magazine. The rich content is equally as impressive as the thick pages and gorgeous imagery.

I won’t forget when I first saw Darling Magazine, walking through the Anthropologie store. Even with all the clothes, accessories and housewares grabbing for my attention, I felt drawn to this magazine. As soon as I picked it up I knew I had to take it home. As I flipped through the pages I was drawn to the charming photography of women’s faces that had not been photoshopped, ad-free pages and thought provoking articles. After reading through the issue, I knew I had to share.

The sections are broken up into eight different personalities: The Dreamer, The Achiever, The Hostess, The Intellectual, The Stylist, The Confidant, The Beautician and The Explorer. Signifying all the hats we wear as woman. This magazine makes for a delightful gift and should be kept on your coffee table to flip through whenever you are in need of some inspiration. It is a fantastic magazine for woman with a manifesto I can definitely get behind.
